I build businesses, I write about growth, and I spend most of my life trying to understand what actually makes a person move.

The through-line
I don't run four
separate lives.
People keep asking which one is the real me — the business, the ministry, the writing, the microphone. All of them. They're the same work aimed at the same thing.
What I learn sitting across from an owner who's about to lose his company, I use on a corner at two in the morning. What I learn on that corner is why I'll still tell the owner the truth when a lie would keep the invoice going.

Long-form conversation about faith, psychology, pressure, money, and purpose. The parts business advice skips and church avoids.

Attention isn't
the same as
growth.
A business can have traffic, leads, followers, a full calendar and a good product, and still bleed money every single week. The attention showed up. The movement stopped.
It stops in ordinary places. A missed call at 4:40 on a Friday. A quote that took six days. A price nobody could defend. A follow-up nobody owned. My work is finding where it stops, then fixing the thing that's actually capping the business — which is usually not the marketing.
They found you. This is the part most people buy, and the only part most agencies sell.
They stayed long enough to want something. Positioning either earns this or burns it.
The gap. Speed, proof, and follow-through decide it — and this is where most businesses quietly lose the deal.
They call, book, buy, sign. A sales process either exists here or it doesn't.
Money that shows up again next quarter without you standing over it.
Diagnose
Find the real constraint, not the loudest symptom. Usually it isn't the ad spend.
Fortify
Fix the foundation first. Offer, positioning, follow-up, the boring operational pipe.
Leverage
Then use attention, capital, people, technology and distribution on purpose.
Cultivate
Build systems that hold the weight, so growth doesn't depend on the owner being awake.

The book
The Movement Gap
Why attention isn't growth. A wake-up call for business owners and marketers.
Most businesses don't have an attention problem. They have a movement problem.
People see you. People inquire. People call. People visit. And then somewhere between knowing you exist and handing you money, they stop. Almost nothing in a standard marketing plan is aimed at that space. The book is about what lives there and how to close it.

Faith isn't
a section
of my life.
It's the root. The business funds the ministry. The ministry keeps the business honest. Take it out and none of the rest of this holds together.
Corners and blocks from 11PM to 4AM. Hours inside prisons with men the world already finished counting. Five states. No building, no salary, no stage. Reaching somebody is the beginning of the work, not the end of it — so we stay after the moment passes.
Streets Need Faith
The ministry itself. Street and prison outreach, prayer, and the miles in between.
SNF Seven
The public side — teaching, music, the live studies, and the conversations that come out of the work.
The Unit
Discipleship. A room for people who've felt rejected and believers tired of doing it alone. Nobody hits the streets by themselves.

Things I'm
thinking about.
Sitting With Seven is long-form and unhurried. Faith, psychology, money, pressure, identity, leadership — the conversations business advice usually skips and church usually avoids. Right now it's me and a microphone. Guests are coming.
The story
I'm still
becoming
the man I'm
talking about.
I didn't come out of a business program. I came up in street life, and most of what I know about why people move — what makes somebody change direction, commit, follow through — I learned in places where nobody was studying marketing.
Then faith took the whole thing apart and put it back together pointed somewhere else. I built a firm. I wrote a book about what I kept seeing. I preach at 2AM. I get it wrong regularly and I'm not interested in pretending otherwise. Everything on this site is something I'm still in the middle of.

Before anything else.

A note from me,
once in a while.
Business, faith, psychology, and whatever I'm learning while building all of this. No schedule, no funnel, no seventeen-email sequence. When there's something worth sending, I send it.
